Description of my work
Dr. Paschalis is Assistant professor in the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He was a Researcher in Exercise Biology in the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences of the University of Thessaly (2004-2016). He received his BSc in Exercise Science from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1996) and his PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of Thessaly (2004). He worked as an adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences in the University of Thessaly teaching the courses Track and Field Events (2001-2004).
Dr Paschalis has published 60 international peer reviewed papers in the area of Exercise Physiology and Biochemistry and has presented over 100 papers in conferences. His work has been cited in more than 1900 published papers (h-index 23; Google Scholar January 2017) and he serves as a reviewer for more than 20 journals in the Exercise Biology field. He has published as a co-author a review in the scientific journals Sports Medicine and he has participated as member of the research team in seven funding projects.
